Becoming a Green Belt Trainer in Climate Fresk is not just about knowledge—it’s about experience, mentorship, and community-building. Here’s what it takes:
✅ Facilitated at least 15 workshops (I’ve completed 33 so far!)
✅ Completed the assessment as a trainer candidate (Done! 🎉)
✅ Interview with a Green Belt trainer (Thank you, Mr. Fabien Chedefaux from Thailand!)
✅ Facilitated a workshop under observation (Grateful for the feedbacks of Mr. Quang-tran Dao from Vietnam!)
✅ Attended a briefing on training materials (Checked!)
✅Observed a facilitator’s training (Joined two sessions with Mr. Fabien Chedefaux & Ms. Martina Weinberger 👀)
✅ Conducted my first facilitator training under Blue Belt supervision (Coming soon—the final step!)
As I move closer to officially becoming a Green Belt Trainer, I’m excited to step into this new role—mentoring and training the next generation of facilitators in Vietnam. Together, we’re scaling up climate education and empowering more people to take action.
Learning & Growing on My Green Belt Journey!
+ Time: December 11, 2024 + Venue: Lululala Café & Chill + Language: English + Facilitator: Trang Nguyen
One of the most valuable experiences on my path to becoming a Climate Fresk Green Belt Trainer was facilitating a public workshop under the observation of Mr. Quang-tran Dao. This session brought together urban planners, architects, and graduate students, creating a dynamic and insightful discussion on climate change and sustainability.
💡 Key Takeaways from This Experience:
🔹 I received valuable feedback, both positive and constructive, helping me refine my facilitation skills.
🔹 I gained a deeper understanding of how different professional perspectives engage with climate knowledge.
🔹 Mr. Quang-tran Dao shared the mission of a trainer, inspiring me even more for my future role in growing the Climate Fresk community.
This journey is about continuous learning, and I’m grateful for every experience that shapes me into a better facilitator and soon, a trainer. The next step is just ahead, and I’m excited to train and mentor new facilitators to bring climate education to even more people in Vietnam!
